I finally found some good fake looking 18th shoes (o lot better than the nothing I had) :

1790s : I need to remove the buckle (there were none on that kind of shoes), but as it is partially stuck/sewn/glued to the shoes, I will have to put a cockade or a knot on it. But pointy + heel = bliss.

Last third of 18th : I bought the same shoes in two different colors, black and something between burgundy and maroon. I will have to transform them someday (not only because they should come higher on front, but because they are bad quality), but for the moment, I have no idea how to do this. The only think that is bugging are the hole on the sides. I hate them. I need to find a clever way to hide them, but I just don't know how. Ideas ?

Gorgeous shoes.

For the holes, maybe you can try and pass a ribbon fromm under the shoe and up to cover the hole and then through the small holes to tie it. This way you can coordinate the ribbon with the gown.

Wear black stocking underneatht o hide the hole... or you could find some fabric or leather and sew 'em up... :/

Great shoes though! They're lovely! :D
