Exhibit in Swiss

I'm trying to convince my parents to drive me to Bern to see the Abegg Stiftung exhibit of 16th to 18th century clothes. And it's not an easy task !

First : no I can't go alone, because I have always driven on short distance, and am not ready to experiment long distance all by myself and my map. And train may be an option, but the museum is outside Bern, and I have no idea how to go there alone. And I don't speak german.

Problem is Bern is rather far, oil is expensive, and my parents are not hugely excited about the exhibit. Like absolutely not interested.

So i need to give them reason to go.... Mmmmh... fiofiorina I remember you telling about all the very interesting historical items that can be seen there, but I can't remember what it was. Can you remind me ?


Which bring me to my last point : if we go, we will certainly have a place for you in the car green_martha. Would you be interested in going ? if so, what are your possibilities ?
And if we go, not only will it be a lot more interesting to visit this part of Switzerland with a Swiss : would you like to come fiofiorina? Waht are your possibilities ? we could meet in Bern.

Heck yes I'm in ! If your parents are too reluctant, I have a car too, there are direct trains from Paris to Grenoble, and it takes about three hours by car (says google maps) to drive to Bern.
*checks the agenda* Nothing free until September for me, then I only have Sundays free (excluding the 27th and 28th of September, my sister's wedding). So that leads us into October : I should have (apart from Sundays) the 11th and 12th off, then I'm planning to take a week of vacation from the 19th to the 26th of Oct. Not much :/ I have some days off during the week when I work on Saturday, I'm sure a day-trip during the week is an option for you, but if you want I can track them down too.

Argh, I was thinking of now, this month. Because I'm in St etienne right now.

I cannot afford me train from Paris just to go see an exhibit in bern. Actually, i cannot afford the train at all : my parents pay it.

I was thinking that you would be free some sunday in the 15 days to come. (after that we may>/i> go to Quimper. Or not. Nothing is decided yet.)

Ce dimanche je suis dans l'Allier pour ma semaine de vacnaces estivale. Celui d'après je reviens d'un mariage à Bourges pour revenir bosser ici. Celui encore après je prends l'avion pour aller à un mariage à Brest (avec un mariage ici la veille). Celui encore après c'est l'enterrement de vie de jeune fille de ma soeur :/
Je crosi que la mardi 19 aout est le seul jour encore libre qu'il me reste sur le mois... Et non, je ne vais pas faire une overdose de mariages.........
