The Art of Hat, and other random considerations

My internet connection is terrible, I've been sick for a week, my dress is still unfinished (18th century sleeves are evol),my pupils are stupid, and my flat is a battlefield (sewing is a war).

But... I haz a hat. Well if I have the dare to wear it. It is a lot more huge in real life.

Very nice! I'm going to have to dare to wear a similar huge hat too soon (in June), but it's fun to wear something over the top, almost in bad taste, for a change.

I have discovered a parental and doggy visit in the middle of sewign can consequently reduce the battlefield effect. Only, now I'm exhausted from the huge cleaning and rushing around, I don't know anymore where all the justeaucorps pieces are and the battlefield leftovers have concentrated on my desk, so I'm not sure it's worth it. Give me my battlefield back in its original state !
