Old and New year review & resolutions

2007 has been a crappy crappy year for me, so the review for it will be very quick :

_ I only loose weight on december
_ I didn't find a job
_ My relationship with my mother has grown more and more strained
_ I only did two costumes (celadon bustle and 1797 directoire gown) and the bustle was a project mainly done during 2006-2007

Crap !

It was such a depressing year that I spend three monthes in summer never touching a needle and barely using LJ. I just felt remote and cold about everything.

So you can imagine how few I care about my 2007 costume resolutions. Pff ! Gone with the wind.

I'm a little shy this year to make a new costumes resolutions, because I have no original projects, just the old or current one to finish. Well I have new projects, but I pretty sure I won't have the time to make them :

1 - Finish the ume dress (1880, natural form)

2 - Finish the 1873 pink flowers dress

3 - The 1928 PoF dress

4 - Finish the 1848 revolution dress (dammit !) and the red quilted corset (dammit dammit !!)

5 - Finish the striped 1789 POF round gown (I haven't yet talked about that one : pictures when I come back in Paris)

6 - Crocheted fruit reticule(s) : a grape regency reticule and the KCI pinapple if I found which point i should use. I just begin crochet, and I am already insanely ambitious.

7 - Early 1840 green silk satin dress : this is a old project rethought in another design. I will do it if we make the Poe event in 2009.

8 - The simpliciy 1870s wedding fantamabulous dress (on hold for now because the shop where I found an inexpensive silk will never have enough fabric : 15 meters !)

Insane yes ! I just need to find what point to use to made the scales up, and I'm in !

I could be more insane, and make he knitted regency dress like koshka_the_cat...

Thank you! I suffer from a similar problem. I see something new on a costumer's site and it makes me want one even more!
