No Eiffel Tower ball for me, after all. 85 euros lost.
I made everything in time, except that between the fitting of the bodice's toile and the finished bodice (that I didn't have the time to fit... should have), I lost 10 centimeters at the waist. They're probably somewhere on the cutting floor, but there is no way I can arrange the bodice to fit, now. *re-sigh*
By the way, I looked terrible in 1900 style : it just sooooo doesn't fit stout figure.
I will miss the ball, and the Eiffel Tower, and I'm going to misss terribly my non-refundable 85 euros.
At last, I will be able to take pictures of costumed people at the Trocadero Place before they go dancing in the Tower. *re-re-sigh*
