So. This is my first official LJ post.
Now that entrance in the marvelous world of LJ is code-free, I could create my own : I awaited that for so long a time, and till now was too shy to ask someone to -- please, please please ! -- give me a code.
Mmmh... I think it's now clear that I'm not really fluent in English : I'm french, so pardon horrid mistakes and very strange turn of sentences (phrases ?). Officially, this LJ is up to improve my English, to help me write my english HP fanfics, so feel free to correct me as often as you want ! (officiously, this LJ only exists to give me the possibility to stop posting anonymous comments in other LJ : I like living under the mask of internet anonymity, but no that far.)
So. I think it's ok for a first post, no ?

hello !
Date: 2003-12-17 09:16 pm (UTC)From:Thanks for friending me (my two journals *_*) !! But i can't stop wondering : why ? and from where do you know my journal ???? it's very intriguing *and i'm naturally curious ^^;;*
Then i'm very happier to find another lover of books like me ! I went to your french journal ^_^ you seem to know well the actual french literature ! I more classic but eh thanks to you i found some more books to read for Christmas vacation when i will far from the net ^_^.
I friended you back of course, and hope you will appreciate my post ^^.
Bye, Aélane.
PS : You want to be a writer ? no no, i, i'm interested ! very interested ^__^. And interested in reading your HP fanfic : which is your fanfic, is she at ff.net ??
Re: hello !
Date: 2003-12-17 10:30 pm (UTC)From:I friend you because I appreciate what I read in your journals... Is it so bad a reason ? I find it rather... logical. I find you first through Catiadoodle, to which I come to find the her original fanart (draco in the rain) that had inspired a LJ icon I loved (O_O). I discovered your new "Aellane" LJ via a comment you post on Hemisphair. You know, the blogosphere is very very small !
For my french journal... actually, speaking of french literature, I'm more into the classic too. Present french literature is, unfortunately, so boring ! Besides, I'm more a great lover of Anglo-saxon actual and classic literature. But if I help you find books for holidays : cheers up ! J'ai bien fait mon boulot !
I want to be a writer, but, oh my, I think I'm born with writer's block ! So... Better saying there is nothing more to say ! I'm working on so many different books and ideas that I have the impression of working on sand.
For my HP fictions, there are no-where to be find, for the good reason that they're all in progress ! On my computer ! and will probably long stay there (stupid stupid me) ! I have two : he very (?) long one, called "Harry Potter and The Holly Wand", and a short (? also subject to change, but it's a one shot) one only written in dialogs, called "Rescue Team". None of them are slash, because, mmhh, if I write a slash one day, I want to be original, and I still haven't find a good way to be ! My two WIP are more or less D/G.
Hope it answer to all your little questions !
Bye Heileen and many, many, many thanks for answering my first post !
Re: hello !
Date: 2003-12-18 08:42 am (UTC)From:My policy is to comment in the language of the post, but well it's a bit odd and my english sucks too it's right ^^;;
Present french literature is, unfortunately, so boring !
I find her rather boring, me too. But i always thought that maybe it's because of my misknowledge. Well it seems i'm not alone to have this feeling, that's ominous ^^;;;
I friend you because I appreciate what I read in your journals...
#^^# thanks ! i hope you will carry on. Don't hesitate to make critics or comments ^^ : feed-backs are very useful for me, i'm always surprise to find that first people want to read my stories and what they like or dislike in my writings.
You know, the blogosphere is very very small !
^o^;; as a newbie i always have tendency to fancy the net like so so wide. That's fun the way you find the path to my journals ^^.
I'm working on so many different books and ideas that I have the impression of working on sand.
lol ! so do I ! that's why i won't say i'm writer and i don't think to edition at all.
My two WIP are more or less D/G.
eh ! then, i want even more to read your fanfics. I was so disguted with D/G because of the stories i read first on Schnoogle (http://www.schnoogle.com), all crap... some by
many, many, many thanks for answering my first post !
it's me, you're welcome ^^
Bye, Aélane.

Present french literature is, unfortunately, so boring !

That's why there is an urgent need a refreshing young imaginative writers ! I think there is no reason for literary literature to be so boring and letting originality to genre writers.
#^^# thanks ! i hope you will carry on. Don't hesitate to make critics or comments ^^ : feed-backs are very useful for me, i'm always surprise to find that first people want to read my stories and what they like or dislike in my writings.
Er... doing comment on somebody else writing, I find it very difficult and a bit presumptuous. I prefer not too. I'd rather read and enjoy a lot !
^o^;; as a newbie i always have tendency to fancy the net like so so wide. That's fun the way you find the path to my journals ^^.
Net is wide, blogosphere is small. Smal, because everyone is linking to a lot of very interesting people, themselves linking to other people, and in the end, nearly everybody is in the circle of links ! But yeah, my way to come to your journal was unusual ! I'm unique ! (ahem...)
that's why i won't say i'm writer and i don't think to edition at all.
Oh no ! I want to be published ! That's my only goal in life ! I mean, I'm good in nothing else than writing, so what I'm supposed to do : sleep en my mediocrity ? I want to be published ! I want to be the next J.K. ! (oui, je vais me calmer, laissez-moi deux petites minutes)
I fact, speaking of my writing made me think that I should force me to write more regularly, like you did, so I open a new LJ for one of my project (in french) : There is nothing yet, but, I will try to put bits of the first chapter during the holidays : the name of the LJ is "heptalogue" (I don't know how to make the link to a LJ).
! then, i want even more to read your fanfics. I was so disgusted with D/G because of the stories i read first on Schnoogle, all crap...
Well I read some good things in schnoogle in the D/G fandom, but maybe I'm biased and so much want to love them ! !the problem is that it's often the same thing. I'm afraid to have you read my fic : they're maybe crap too !
As far as H/D is concerned, the first tim I heard about it, I say myself : the hell of an horrible stupid idea ! And then I read things like Love under Will, Irresistible poison, and above all Cassie Claire's A Season in Hell an After the Flood, an I fall in love ! It's now that H/D became so common, that I only found crap. I haven't read a goo H/D for ages. *weep*
it's me, you're welcome ^^
Your welcome too (we can go for long like this, no ?)
Heileen
Woh, a new weblog ;-) ?
Date: 2003-12-18 11:16 pm (UTC)From:So, Heileen, what do you prefer : Blogger, Joueb.com or LJ ;-) ?
It's funny to see how small the blogosphere is ;-)
I discovered your weblog after a post made by Mouche.
I discovered your Joueb after a post written by Biz.
And, now, I discovered your LJ thanks to your comment on Aélane's Journal ;-)
Re: Woh, a new weblog ;-) ?
Date: 2003-12-18 11:23 pm (UTC)From:I'll say that blogger is always messing and get on my nerves, joueb is rather cool except for the name (ah, that name) and i'm still discovering LJ, but, well, it's more a way to make you friends than a simple blog like the others.
The smallness of the blogosphere... I was talking of it, but she's even more little than i believe. *shiver* Not sure it's so good a thing.
Re: Woh, a new weblog ;-) ?
Date: 2003-12-18 11:54 pm (UTC)From:You can try to be during a small time, but one day or the other, you'll be discovered.
One time ago (oh, I think one year ago), I was thinking about creating a LJ without telling to everyone I know. But I realized that it was not a very good idea ;-) All is becoming connected (and the development of tools like Technorati, for example, has some responsability in the growth of this "connection").
Re: hello !
Date: 2003-12-19 12:31 am (UTC)From:"genre literature" is more recent, they haven't the weight of centuries of history, that's maybe why "genre writers" find easier to innovate : it's deluding oneself in my opinion. Otherwise, i rather like myself "genre literature" ^^.
Er... doing comment on somebody else writing, I find it very difficult and a bit presumptuous. I prefer not too. I'd rather read and enjoy a lot !
well i don't know... i have getting into the habit to make beta as a fanficer and i'm very pleased to receive comments or critics or just a opinion : to have a exterior point of view is so very useful, to find if this or this "functions" with someone who has not my background, who doesn't know me. I find so hard to be objective about what i write. ^_^
Small, because everyone is linking to a lot of very interesting people, themselves linking to other people, and in the end, nearly everybody is in the circle of links !
it's what i like in the web, thought i don't have often the time : going from link to link, to beam from an interesting blog or page, to discover. But to find always the same links that's less fun ^^;; (but i'm newbie too in the blogosphere - love this name ! -)
I fact, speaking of my writing made me think that I should force me to write more regularly, like you did,
^^;;; it's exactly why i published on the net, otherwise i would have give up stories after a drabble or a chapter ^^;;;;;
so I open a new LJ for one of my project (in french) : There is nothing yet, but, I will try to put bits of the first chapter during the holidays : the name of the LJ is "heptalogue"
i will friend you with
(I don't know how to make the link to a LJ.
wouah for one time it's me who have informatics hints ! (my two seconds of informatics' usefulness ^^)
Well I read some good things in schnoogle in the D/G fandom
which one ? *curious*
the problem is that it's often the same thing.
in H/D too -__-
It's now that H/D became so common, that I only found crap. I haven't read a good H/D for ages. *weep*

Date: 2003-12-19 12:35 am (UTC)From:You are acquainted, i didn't know, that's fun ^^
welcome to LJ Morgan ^^
now we didn't have to obtain codes, well we French seem to be less shameful to spread our bad english everywhere ^^;;
Re: hello !
Date: 2003-12-19 12:41 am (UTC)From:Ivyblossom, i already know (and love : who doesn't love ivy?) i will give a look to the other ones. Thanks !
For D/G, there is, of course, cassie claire's, Rising from ashes (forget the name of author), Eternity perhaps (freelancer), it's a WIP, they're other, but i forget which (it's too late to make the links, sorry, i'm tired, half-sleeping, and tomorrow i'm moving to the province : it already kill me!). I search in general in fiction alley park ships page : lots of crap, but you always find something good if you take the time ;))

Date: 2003-12-19 11:48 pm (UTC)From:@_@!!! Somebody I don't know found somebody through my LJ? That's quite surrealistic as I never post anything. Wait... I see you friended me, thank you! I'll try to draw more often but don't guarantee anything...^_^;
Somebody used my drawing as an icon? Is it
And I'm really happy a part of the French HP fandom starts to come here in LJ. So convenient to have only one friends page to check!
