I think I was a little bit too ambitious in my will to make the 18th Halloween dress. I don't know how other plump costumers do, but I fell miserably in my attempt to make a beautifull 18th dress toile : having a rather large back, I can't make narrow back pieces, so all the effect of the robe à l'anglaise back is lost. Pfff!!! Seeing the time jennylafleur took to make the toile of her polonaise, I feel it's really an insanity to try to do the Halloween dress for Halloween in less than 17 days.

Beside that, I'm finally doing the 1820s purple dress bodice. It's coming up nicely. I should maybe call it the "true Halloween dress" ?

PS : actually, I don't have any halloween event to wear it to, so why am I doing all this mess ? Did you go the an Halloween party green_martha ?

Actually, no, though I do have a birthday planned on the week-end before (in Bordeaux). The friends I hang around with here, except Mademoiselle Fi, are most likly *not* to dress up, except for LARP. *sigh*
Look, There are plans that I should go to Paris at some point before the end of the year. We should find some time to dress up and make a small tour and photo shooting there, don't you think ?

Ah, that would really be cool. Let's hope I will have at least on dress finished by then O_O

What would be the best ? Museums ?

I'd like to have a new dress done by then... not sure I'll make it though. Anyway, I still have my 1898 Caramel outfit, and my 1889 black and yellow one.
Museums are good, we made some pretty pictures in Orsay and at the Louvre with Mademoiselle Fi last time. Actually, any beautiful place where we can see something and make pretty pictures would be great. You probably know the city better than me ;)

Well there are many factors to take in consideration : by the end of the yer, it will be damn cold ! The warmer the better : I prefer doing pictures inside than outside :)

Also, I don't know when you wanted to come, but if you happened to be there on the first sunday of december, a lot of museum will be free entrance : Le Louvre, Orsay, Le Musée de la vie Romantique (a little museum in a pretty little house, which, if I remember well, is furnished in the XIXth fashion) and of, course, Versailles.

No idea when I'll come. It all depends on where we spend Christmas with my beloved BF. If it's Paris, we won't come befor Christmas. If it's not, we may visit his family before that. I'm currently kicking a few asses to get peolple to decide what we'll do ;)
