O my stash II

I decided to do pictures of my stash for personnal reference, and also to help me keep the determination to make it more often, and also to remind me that, when you don't do your stash, terrible things happen : I have lost 5 meters of silk satin. tyhey must be somewhere in this damn flat, but, because I'm the messiest girl in the solar system, it can't be found. grrrrr !!!

As storage space is limited in my flat, I have a stash divided in 5 parts :) It's ridiculous !

It is fun to look at your stash. Some fabrics I recognize and then there is a blue striped fabric that looks a lot like the fabric I used for my pierrot jacket. Mine is very cheap, thin fabric that I bought as a duvetcover.

Don't fret, love... I have about 60 crates of stash in the loft (18 of patterns, two of coathangers, smaller boxes of corset stuff... and manymanylots of fabrics!), plus chunks in the sewing room the conservatory and the living room! And 26 sewing machines, a whole stash of thread, and lots of other smaller supplies roosting in corners!

OMYGAWD ! 26 sewing machines !!! Indeed, I'm far behind you ! On the other hand, my so-called flat is only 17m², so it has to be a mini-mess :)

I have a 3 bed terraced house... The loft is a tent-shape in the roof space, so very easy to fill with STUFF! :D

I do find the bigger the space, the more mess one tends to make... ;)

If you have an iPhone I can heartily recommend the Fabric Stash app, it' a great way to organize and keep track of your stash!
