The pictures turned out in an horrible shitty shitty quality, don't know why Ô-o ... but this is how I will be dressed for the wedding. Of course, I'm not wearing my shift, my kerchief, and I forgot my petticoat in Paris (go me !!). And I'm not made of pretty yet.

PS : scrapbok works like shit today, you may have to re-upload the page to see the pictures

That looks great! I love the colour. Is that the Past Patterns regency pattern? I've been wanting t do that one for ages. You don't happen to have any construction pics, do you? I am very interested in how it goes together.

May I also add how adorable your apartment is?

Pretty! I love the shade of blue. And the fit is also lovely. :)

Love the subtle stripe and the construction of the back. Beautiful fit and color. I'm adding that pattern to my project list! :)

Fit and colour are great, and I like the contrast to your hair :-))

Is this a sign you're getting a soft spot for the 90ties?

You look lovely, and Directoire is in my eyes much more flattering for any type than Empire/Regency (past 1800)

I must protest! :-))
I am slim, but put me into a Regency dress, and I'll look just square(hips like a horse).
Give me Directoire anytime, but not Regency!

And to your dress - I love the fit of the sleeves! They are absolutely nice!

've only just seen this, don't know how I missed it before! That is lovely, you will look charming at the wedding. I've made this pattern too, once when I was thin and again last now that I'm not! It flatters pretty much anyone and goes together very easy once you know how. But I think you've done great job, good finish too.

I love love LOVE the side view! Looks like a period cut-out silhouette! Love this period but I've only ever seen one costume online who got the same look. In pictures at the Jane Austen Festival in 2004? 2005? there's a lady in purple-pink silk who got the same perfect 1790s side view but a different pattern I think. The pictures were on S&S, I think Nehelenia posted them.

Your mother's apartment looks pretty fantastic too! Hope that doesn't sound rude, it wasn't intended to be.

I was going to say "great fit and great color" but I see *everyone's* beaten me to it! So in the interest of being original:

Is that cording in the skirt? That's a great detail. :)
