It's so loooooooong to put all this shit together, and I just discovered that I can't make a straight seam with my Kate (the sewing machine) to save my life. WTF ? What's wrong with me ? I could, before, couldn't I ?
So, as far as now, I have only done one half of the stays, and I would never show a close-up of it to anyone, even under the threat of a gun on my temple. Hugh !! A chance it's an under-pining.
On the dress front, I found such a lovely little striped cotton fabric at the sale, that I decide to put the polonaise on old for a little time, and make a round-gown with a back en fourreau in one week. I know such a wish is not going to be realise since I STILL DO NOT HAVE FINISH THE EVIL STAYS, but, eh !, a girl needs to dream to keep an angelic mood, no ?

For the round gown, I will be using Hunnisett's pattern for a robe à l'anglaise/round-gown. I like it, because if find it rather simple.
