Corset is finished !! Hurrah !! I wish I could make a picture of it : it'd make a great icon. So high large hips... This is the first time I find them pretty.

The "lobster pot" is half done.

Next is skirt cotton fondation : if I work efficiently, I will have it done by tonight.

I'm also going to buy linen this afternoon for a petticoat : my skirt fondation being in cotton, I can't have a cotton petticoat. Jean Hunnisset explained it, but I forget how she put it : it just mess with the skirt, and make it turn on itself. Anyway, this is something that always always happen to me with everyday skirts, so I'd rather have everything on my side to avoid it.

I think it has to do with cotton fibers being more likely to "grab" the material of the skirt making it wrinkle and buldge unattractively. Linen is such a smooth fabric/fiber that the material of the skirt just slides right over it.

Yes, you have the exact words to say it ! But I have to add that I'm rather jinxed in general, so I prefer putting every chance on my side :)

I never get your letter !! When did you send it ? I explained somewhere on my LJ that I have some problems with my mail : I recieve my books, or everything big, but letters tend to mysteriously disappear. I hope it doesn't happen with your letter ! If it's the case, I'm going to do a scandal at my post-office, believe me !

The petticoat's done : just need a ruffle.
