Corset is finished !! Hurrah !! I wish I could make a picture of it : it'd make a great icon. So high large hips... This is the first time I find them pretty.

The "lobster pot" is half done.

Next is skirt cotton fondation : if I work efficiently, I will have it done by tonight.

I'm also going to buy linen this afternoon for a petticoat : my skirt fondation being in cotton, I can't have a cotton petticoat. Jean Hunnisset explained it, but I forget how she put it : it just mess with the skirt, and make it turn on itself. Anyway, this is something that always always happen to me with everyday skirts, so I'd rather have everything on my side to avoid it.

I think it has to do with cotton fibers being more likely to "grab" the material of the skirt making it wrinkle and buldge unattractively. Linen is such a smooth fabric/fiber that the material of the skirt just slides right over it.
