I'm not dead. Corpse still moving.

Anyway, I'm not sewing, but I'm not procrastinating either. I'm quite creative, actually. I made myself a victorian sewing box :

The silhouette is from this site : http://www.arunet.co.uk/tkboyd/tk1mp2.htm

The flower pattern is from the V&A : it is a 18th century dress fragment.

The shoes are from the Lacma Museum collection.

The four fashion plates are fom the Lacma collection too.

Left : the original box I tried to reproduce ; right: one box made by a very creative friend of my mum.

This is my first essay, and I made it with materials from my mother stash, that is shitty materials like poly fabric. So I'm not really 100% satisfied of the result, but I'm still quite content of myself :))

I will do another one, with silk, and japanese kimono fabric pictures.
