LJ seems to have a fonctionnality that only permit to friend to comment on a non-friendly LJ. What's the interest, I don't know : if you just want to speak with your friends, you turn it to friend only. Whatever. It also have his inconvenience : I have the answer to the question of elizabethdress, and now that I'm no more on her friends list (snif ! she forget to put me back ?), I cannot tell her.

So, if one of her friends sees it, the best train to go from London to Paris is obviously the Eurostar : www.eurostar.com

Thank you for the info. I dont know why I thought it would cost and arm and a leg (a lot of money) to get from London to Paris. Seems it is inexpensive.

Well, it can be considered a lot of money for that rather short distance. I found it rather expensive.

But maybe train is more expensive in the State than in France or England because you use it a lot less than us, so it explain your a priori about the price.
