Excabur, the wunderbaaaarrrrrr knife

I just try to watch John Boorman's Excalibur. The only thing that I remember was that my brother had a cult for it when he was 12, and that I, 8 at that time, didn't like it. My guess was that was young and silly. Actually, I was young and already have lots of cinephile taste which him, erm, still didn't have now (he liked Troy...).

That film is possibly the most kitsch movie I've seen from very long (but maybe Alexander is going to beat it ? I have doubts). Nigel Terry is a very ugly and stupid Arthur, Morgane looks more a whore than a enchanteress, and Pendragon fucking naked Igrayn with his full armour is still that monument of the Monty Python humor. And as for the costumes : ha ha. hahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Morgane...
