Comment and I'll give you a color that I think represents you, and then you list ten things you like in that color!
green_martha gave me purple. This is a tough one, because except for flowers and plants, there are not a lot of purple in real life. I couldn find ten things, unfortunately.
- My purple stipred new dress. Definitely. I didn't thought that I would love the color and the stripes so much, but, really, it turn out to be really perfect fo what I had in mind.
- Aniline chemical dye. This is the one which was discovered in 1856, and it was a revolution in Fashion : until then, purple was the rarest color in clothe, only for the richest and the most powerful. For instance, in Catholic church it marks hierarchy.
- Purple 18th century dresses. I love them I don't like the idea of a 18th century purple dress : doesn't feel right. And I don't really care for 20th century purple dress. But 19th century gowns ? They are perfect. I ADORE the dresses in FASHION : the 1874 Worth one on p.244, the 1860 striped one on p.234, and the smocked 1845 one on p.210-211.
- Lilac, which, together with...
- Wisteria, are two of my favorite flowers. I've always found wisteria, lilac, and other plants fascinating I like that they look like...
- Grapes. Okay, I know that grape is supposed to be red, but when you draw them, you draw them purple, and I can't help thinking them as purple in disguise. I find that red grapes is visually some kind of perfect motif. Although I think green grapes tastes better.
- Eggplant. I don't like eating eggplant, but just like purple grape, I find it visually perfect, and its purple is on the best shade of purple ever.
- Amethyst. but not the color, the stone. I like the imperfection of it, the fact that it's a crystal.
