Random thoughts

Okay, it was a week ago, but I just happened to look at the Oscars dresses today and.. hugh !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Except Nathalie Portman's gown, they were all so ugly or simply boring, and the majority of them was quite vulgar *___* !! And all this mermaid tails !! Remind me, when did the mermaid tails became so old-fashioned : the 90s ?

But the award of the most ridiculously stupid unwearable dress of the show goes to Rene Zellweger ! Wh00t ? She couldn't choose between Santa Claus and Victoria's Secrets ?


I went to see Stage Beauty this morning and it was a real surprise !! The costumes were fabulous (I had a little thing for the blue dress), the story was really good a reflexion on gender, actors work, living it's life and not playing it, etc (I was awaiting a silly movie about love and shakespeare like Shakespeare in Love, and I found it far better !), and Billy Crudup... ah... he's so cute with all his freckles and his very suave androgyne smile (make him looks like a man when he's dressed as a woman and like a woman when he's in man : very ambiguous) and his so perfect acting. I was several times breathless because of it's tragic (see ? My english is failing me).

And the sentence about french people !! Everyone was laughing in the theater. It was something like :
"Every time one want to do terrible/horrible things, one always say the french did it before."
Priceless !!!
