Obviously, the free open internet connection I was pirating has became too weak to be pirated now, so I don't have internet unless I go to my hyper expensive cyber café. Too bad for the internet addict I am.

Anyway, I learned that the next Galliera Museum (one of the two Paris costume museums) exhibit is going to be "Les Années Folles" (the 20s) : see here (in french) for more informations : http://www.viafrance.com/evenements/les-annees-folles-305812.aspx

I'm lazily thinking of doing myself the black and white 1828 suit from PoF to go to the exhibit, but going alone is not very fun, so if anyone else of my french and belgian friends is interested... (exhibit from 20 october to 28 february). SMS answer is welcomed for those who have my phone number.

My timing is always bad! When I was in London last year, someone I wanted to meet was in Virginia and a friend from Virginia was in Las Vegas. Perfect!

X-mas and New Year's Day are very familial holidays in France, and my family is not in Paris, BUT I manage to be on Paris the 5 and 6 january.

We'll see if anyone else can come on any of that days...

I found out today about another costumes exhibit that would show in Paris at the same time : there will be historical costumes and christian Lacroix dresses. Pictures in that doc (http://www.lesartsdecoratifs.fr/fr/pdf/cp-lacroix.pdf).

I just noticed I typed the date wrong--I leave on the 5th! My timing strikes again...

On Christmas day I'll actually be on a train to visit my friend in Germany. Good timing for that, at least. Christmas day is a good day to travel since it's a holiday...

For your timing, it depends : will you leave early the 5th, or late ? I you leave in the afternoon, or the evening, we could go in the morning. Not a problem for me. If not, I will see if I can manage to be on Paris the 4th, but I doubt it.
