When nearly no internet connection leads to costuming

Yes it's all your fault, if I don't work on my costumes. I've had so few connection this week that I choose to pass the few time I had on internet on Ravelry (my bad), but also I work on my costumes.

First, I'm reconsidering going to that 18th exhibit [livejournal.com profile] lisotchka talked about. I was (and still is) afraid of the kind of "costumers" who might attend, but [livejournal.com profile] fioforina coming made it suddenly very interesting. I so want to meet her.

So I get out of the waiting line my striped polonaise (I begin it in november, but put it on the waiting line because of the two other deadlines I had : the 1928 and the ume dresses) : still a lot of work to do.

------------------------------------------------------

Second, I work on the ume dress (because now I have my ume fabric !) : I made step one and two of the fitting/modifying pattern :

Step one :
This the pattern I modify (pattern in the gallery)

Step one is the fitting of that basis. It doesn't matter that it doesn't close on the front, becquse that piece will be cut out, and partly replace by another one.

Step two ;
the pieces are heavily modified. But here, white on white, you can't really see it.
